Exploring ocean life and how light refracts off different surfaces and forms is captured in Mariel's series "Depths of Refraction". This one of a kind piece was made by hot pieces of glass applied to a form which are then sculpted by hand with specialized tools, while all being done at temperatures over 2000 degrees.
