Alexi Hunter masterfully crafts a captivating collection of Flava Vases, each serving as a testament to his artistry and skill. Meticulously handblown and shaped, every vase undergoes a transformative journey. What truly sets these vases apart is the organic shaping process. Utilizing heat and centrifugal force, each vase takes on a unique form with captivating openings that enhance its individuality. With slight variations in mouth, colour, and shape, every piece is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece.
Following the hot process, when the glass has cooled overnight, the vases are sandblasted to impart a distinctive matte finish. A final touch of elegance is added with a protective glass coating, creating a lustrous sheen. Available in either vibrant colours or neutral tones, these vases offer a versatile aesthetic to complement any décor.

Glass artist Mischka Alexi Hunter has been blowing glass at his Kingston Glass Studio and Gallery since 2006. Much of his work is inspired by childhood memories from his family's Ontario farm.
