April 2024 - Glassblowing Classes

Join us at Kingston Glass Studio for an unforgettable private glassblowing workshop led by our skilled glass artist! Perfect for individuals or pairs, the workshop offers a unique opportunity to delve into the art of glassblowing. Whether you come solo or bring a friend, the cost remains the same: $350 total for a two-hour session.

No prior experience is necessary—our workshop is open to all individuals aged 16 and above. During the class, you'll have the chance to select and apply colors, then shape and blow the glass under expert guidance, crafting your very own masterpiece. Each participant will create a paperweight, ball, and cup.

After the class, your artwork will undergo a 24-hour annealing process to cool down slowly, ensuring its durability. Following annealing, any sharp edges will be cold worked or ground off. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup the following week. For those traveling from out of town, early pickup arrangements or shipping options can be accommodated.
