2 hours, 2 people, $350. Kingston Glass Studio offers private glassblowing workshops with a skilled glass artist. There is no experience necessary, but participants must be 16+ for insurance purposes. The class is 2 hours long and allows you to pick and apply colours, then blow and shape the glass into a beautiful piece of art created & designed by you! You will make a paperweight, ball and cup each. Your glass artwork takes 24 hours to anneal (cool down slowly) and then needs to be cold work or grind off the sharp edges. The work will be ready to pick up the following week after your class. If you are from out of town, we can do a pick up earlier or shipping arrangements can be made.
